Now that EDIF Version 2 0 101 has been released we (the `EDIF
Technical Centre' -- at the University of Manchester) have set up an
anonymous FTP archive. At the moment it contains:

Version 2 0 101 BNF
Version 2 0 0 BNF
Example EDIF files.
A table driven 2 0 101 Parser/Syntax checker.
Information about conferences/workshops and EDIF related documents.

New files are being added, as we have time. If you have any
suggestions for things which we should put up for FTP, please email
us.

We also need people to contribute example EDIF files, which can be
made publically available, to our collection, again please email us.

Here is a copy of some blurb we recently distributed at DAC:

EDIF Technical Centre Anonymous FTP archive.

If you are on the `internet' you can access our FTP server which
contains EDIF documents, EDIF BNF's and a number of our EDIF related
programs.

ftp to the machine `edif.cs.man.ac.uk' (130.88.229.234), using the
user name anonymous and supply your internet email address as the
password. After logging in move to the `/pub/edif' directory and read
the various indices and README files. Files can be retrieved with the
ftp `get' command.

If you have problems logging in add a hyphen as the first character of
the email address you use as the password to log in. If there are any
problems please email: edif-support@cs.man.ac.uk

This service is funded by the European Commission as part of
Esprit Project 2072 - the European CAD Integration Project (ECIP).
