Dr.Susan Gauch

Dr. Gauch's primary research field is Intelligent Information Agents. She received her Ph.D. from University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill in 1990 where she developed an expert search assistant for an online full-text database.
Since joining the University of Kansas in 1993, Dr. Gauch's research has encompassed intelligent agent for information discovery and fusion from the World Wide Web (ProFusion), content-based searching of digital video libraries and an NSF-sponsored project on the application of corpus linguistics to the field of information retrieval. Her work has been presented at numerous conferences and appears in major journals.
Sriram Chadalavada

Sriram Chadalavada is a Masters student in computer science. He completed his undergraduate studies at Hyderabad, India. His research interests are information retrieval (text classification) and computer networks. He is currently working on a cookie-based user profiler for the keyconcept search engine. His pastimes include singing, reading fiction and non-fiction books. He is also a die-hard fan of Indian cricket.

Devanand is a Masters student in Computer Science from Trichy,India. He received his undergraduate bachelor of engineering degree from Bharatidasan University,India, in Computer Science and Engineering. His interests include emerging Web technologies, SF novels and English films. He currently investigates methods for better conceptual search. Devanand plans to learn to play the guitar one day.

Joana is a PhD student in Computer Science from Skopje, Macedonia. She completed her undergraduate studies at Skopje, Macedonia and
received her Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Kansas. Her research interests focuse on conceptual search and user
profiles based on browsing habits. She enjoys cooking, making sweets and sewing.
