The main objective of this research project is to devise an optimization algorithm capable of searching for the best path between a source and destination node in a wireless multi-hop network. Metrics used in determining the best path include: fewer hops, error robustness, and minimum end-to-end distance. To achieve these three objectives simultaneously, a genetic algorithm approach is employed to determine the best-possible path across the wireless network.
