The best pop band you've never heard of has to be The Push Stars. Simple, guitar oriented pop/rock that will definitely make you smile. In a perfect world, The Push Stars would be on the radio all the time. My favorite of their albums is After the Party although I can vouch for Opening Time as well. Haven't heard the new one yet.
