A Brief Bio
Dr. Daniel Deavours received his BS in Computer engineering,
MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University
of Illinois. In August of 2001, he joined the University of
Kansas as a Research Assistant Professor. He has worked with
the Bluetooth SIG in developing a Bluetooth interoperability
test program. Currently, Dr. Deavours is the Director of
Research for the RFID Alliance Lab, and actively developing
UHF RFID antenna technologies for metal and other difficult
environments.
