So you want to be an engineer
Well listen now to what I say
Work so hard people think your a queer
In the computer room both night and day
And after memorizing pi
With your pants too high
you'll be a real swell guy

And so your gonna go downtown
where the DOD won't let you down
And sell your soul to the government
But don't tell your mom your working on the bomb
And if you clear NSA
keep the peacenicks at bay
you're gonna be o.k.

It's the price you pay
for your being a geek
No one talks to you,
girls all think your a freak
Your only friend is in a can of beer
But don't forget what you are
You're an engineer
