A copy of the command string
bool is_running ( )

Query if quash should accept more input or not.

Returns
True if Quash should accept more input and false otherwise
bool is_tty ( )

Check if Quash is receiving input from the command line (TTY)

Returns
True if stdin is a TTY false if stdin is not a TTY
