About the Group

The Lambda reading group meets weekly to discuss topics in programming language semantics and use. The topics vary pretty broadly, and we're open to suggestion.

The group meets at 1:30pm Wednesdays in the EECS Conference Room in Eaton Hall.

We maintain a mailing list for announcements and discussion. To subscribe, send email to majordomo@ittc.ku.edu with the subject "subscribe lambda".

Topics

This semester we've been looking at the G-machine, an abstract machine for graph reduction of functional languages. The main background for this topic is Simon Peyton Jones' book Implementing Functional Languages.

Past topics

Uktaad B'mal has a set of notes about topics we've covered in the past.
