Help a Cancer Patient

This is regarding Megha Vaidya, an international graduate student at the University of Kansas. She had come in August'2002 for her Masters in Electrical Engineering.

On Friday, the 8th of November, she was diagnosed with a rare case of Acute Leukaemia (blood cancer), and is currently admitted to a hospital in Kansas City.

On November 12th 2002, she was put on chemotherapy. The treatment will continue for a month after which she will undergo bone marrow transplant.

To cover the high expenses of her treatment and the arrangements that need to be made for the travel/accomodation of her parents, the KU Cultural India Club (KUCIC) urges you to donate as much as possible.

We have opened up a separate fund for Megha called Megha Trust Fund at US Bank in Lawrence KS.
