Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is CSIDOP?

CSIDOP is a protein GO molecular function prediction tool based on the interacting domain patterns extracted from cross-species interaction data. For method details, please see About.

2. What do I need to enter to predict functions of a protein?

If one wants to find functions of a particular protein, the SwissProt accession number of the query protein is required. It would be better if a list of interactors the protein binds is provided. No matter what, the system will automatically search our existing PPI datasets for interactors and make predictions. Additional information is always appreciated in order to make a more comprehensive and accurate prediction. Note: All proteins provided must use SwissProt accession number. For example queries, please see Example.
