Bio:

Heechul Yun is a Deane E. Ackers Scholar and Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Kansas. He leads research on safe and secure real-time computing infrastructure—spanning operating systems, architecture, and middleware—for intelligent cyber-physical systems. His work includes predictable real-time execution on multicore/heterogeneous platforms, mitigation of shared-resource interference, embedded AI/ML with “anytime” accuracy–latency tradeoffs, and hardware security. He has received multiple best/outstanding paper awards in top real-time systems venues. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign and previously worked at Samsung Electronics and ETRI.
